I would like to thank most sincerely all the helpers who worked extremely hard, even if that meant only standing still for long periods on a cold day. In fact, for the time of year the weather could not have been better. This, coupled with the fact that competitors were able to park their cars on hard standing meant that we got off to a good start.

It was unfortunate that the odd motorist, delayed for a few seconds by the congestion we caused on Meltham Mills Road, then drove past the assembly area at 60 mph!
I would like to thank Bill Hunter in particular for his help in sorting out the maze of ownerships in the area.
