Spring Wood Informal Orienteering Event 

Wednesday 12th July 2006

Times                        Registration from 6.15 until 7.15pm. Starts from 6.30 to 7.30pm.

                                Controls will be collected in from 8.30pm.

Parking                     GR 134125. Adjacent to Hinchcliffe's Farm Shop on Netherton Moor Rd. Netherton.

Courses                    There will be 4 courses. In orienteering terminology these are White, Yellow, Green and Blue standard.

                               Non-orienteers should note that the White and Yellow courses are suitable for beginners and children.

Area                        The White, Yellow and Green courses will take place in Spring Wood. The Blue course will use Honley Old Wood as well.

Fees                        Adults £2. Juniors £1. There is no extra charge for running a second or even third course.

Beginners are most welcome to come to this event. They do not need to bring any equipment! Free compasses are available.
