East Pennine Orienteering Club

                     SPRING WOOD Evening INFORMAL 12/07/06

This event was the culmination of a long day in Spring Wood for me as I had spent the morning and afternoon organizing an event for about 100 schoolchildren from Honley Junior School.

  Some of the children returned in the evening which contributed to the event attracting the highest attendance of the Summer Series. Spring Wood is excellent for shorter courses even if some paths are a little unclear.

  I apologise to anyone on the Long course who had problems navigating to and from Honley Wood. I have to admit that the optimum route was fairly unclear on the map.
