Haw Park Woods District Event. Organisers Comments

I must start by apologising for running out of maps. We looked at the numbers for the last three events we held at Haw Park and then added over 25% more on both Green and Blue and still it wasn’t enough. I think a combination of the Delamere event cancellation and the superb weather on the day brought more runners than we ever envisaged.

Thanks to all those who gave up their maps for re-use – if you requested a copy this has now been sent on. For such a small area I think Emma’s courses were very well received from comments I got in person and those on the bulletin board.

Thanks to all the usual EPOC stalwarts for their help and to Peter Watson for his calm controlling and to Dave Mee and his staff at the countryside park. We look forward to seeing you all at Marsden on March the 4th (we’ll try and duplicate the weather – but no guarantees!) Guy Goodair
