Deffer Woods District Event

Organiser’s comments

After a disappointing weather forecast for the weekend I was delighted to arrive at Deffer in beautiful sunshine. The wood was at it's best with bluebells everywhere and acceptable levels of bramble. We hope the fence and campsite which appeared over night were not too distracting.

All ran smoothly thanks to an amazing group of volunteers, without their generosity these events would be impossible and I would like to thank them all for their time and hard work.

The atmosphere was lovely and it was great to see so many newcomers.

Special thanks to Emma for being so organised and her superb courses, which were bold and gave great route choices.
