I was rather overwhelmed by the numbers. I
think we had 78 competitors (including several parents not listed in the results).
If I’d known these numbers I wouldn’t have attempted to give out
maps and time the starts & finishes single handed. Thanks for your
patience! Thanks to the Lloyd family for registration and arranging the
parking at the sailing club.
Well done to Dickie Wren for getting all the score
controls in 51 minutes. The optimum route to get all the controls was
5.93 km, 295m of ascent but the brambles were quite fierce particularly on
the lower part of the west side. I think the map could do with a few green
stripey bits. No such problems on the short course- just a few muddy
bits.
