The forth of a series of four Autumn Events for beginners and experts

All YHOA club members and Crag Vale Fell Runners are welcome at this event!

 Terrain: A National Trust woodland area with a good path network for juniors, but nevertheless quite challenging, and technical for the experts.

Map: 1:10000, 5m contours, 2003 OCAD map, Controls and descriptions will be pre-marked on the map. Printed on waterproof paper.

Car Park: At GR 089 291. Near the National Trust Car Park.

Toilets: There are some nearby.

Dogs: Well behaved dogs on leads are fine.

Entry Registration: From 10.00am. Visit here to pay your entry fee.

Fees: Adults, £2.00. Juniors/Students, £1.00. Chech fees otech for lates fees.

Courses: There will a score course of 60mins. The idea is that you visit as many controls as you can in the allotted time. It may be possible for good orienteers to visit all the controls within 60mins? In which case, the fastest time will win!

There will also be a white and a yellow course for first timers. Starts are when you wish. Just turn up and ask!

Start: There will be a massed start for the score event at 12.30, near the car park.

Finish: In the same place as the start.

Courses Close: 2.30pm. Controls will start to disappear.
