Almondbury  is mentioned in the Doomsday and was a thriving parish long before Huddersfield expanded during the Industrial Revolution. You will see many listed buildings in the village, particularly around Westgate, Northgate and Town End. Castle Hill is also nearby.

It takes about 25 minutes to reach Almondbury. The Event Centre is a 5 minute walk from the bus stop.

Standard entries close on Sunday 29th June 2025. Late entries available subject to map numbers until Midday on 4th July with a surcharge of £2(senior)/£1.50YA/£1(junior).

Courses:
You may enter any course but to qualify for the UK Urban and Yorkshire Urban Leagues you must run the course specified below.

Subject to final controlling. Course lengths and optimum distances to be confirmed in the final details.
